BLACK SABBATH’S

‘13’:

AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY

ON iTUNES STORE

BEGINNING TODAY

MONDAY, JUNE 3

With the release of BLACK SABBATH’s much-anticipated 13 album just a week away, the entire album will now be available as a free stream exclusively on the iTunes Store beginning today (Monday, June 3) at 1:00 PM (PT)/4:00 PM (ET)13–which is already available as a pre-order on the iTunes store–topped the iTunes charts as the #1 Rock album and single, the #1 Metal album and single, and the #19 Overall album in the first 24 hours of availability.  In addition, fans who pre-order either the standard (http://smarturl.it/BlackSabbath13StiT ) or the deluxe edition, with three additional tracks (http://smarturl.it/BlackSabbath13DlxiT), will immediately receive a download of the album’s first single “God is Dead?”

For more than three decades, rock fans have hoped for the return of BLACK SABBATH, but few could have predicted the forceful return-to-form of 13, which was produced by seven-time Grammy-Award winning producer Rick Rubin.  The band that defined the heavy metal rock genre, pick up immediately where they left off, delivering eight sprawling songs (five of them are over eight minutes) that possess every ounce of the maniacal vitality of their trailblazing work in the ’70s.  On 13, BLACK SABBATH are joined by drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine) on such epic songs like “End of the Beginning,” “Loner,” “Dear Father,” and “Age of Reason.”  13 is a testament to the enduring relevance of BLACK SABBATH‘s long-running reign.

The album will be released June 11 on Vertigo (worldwide) and Vertigo/Republic in the U.S.

Next month, look for BLACK SABBATH to launch a 20-city North American concert tour in support of 13.  Kicking off July 25 in Houston, TX, the tour will include shows in Holmdel, NJ (NY-area), Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, Tinley Park (Chicago), San Francisco, Seattle and Toronto, ON before wrapping up September 3.
